I would like to offer my warmest greetings to the participants of the 2008 World Ranking Masters. By qualifying for this prestigious event, you have proven you are among our sport's elite athletes.

As our sport works toward the future and attaining our place as part of the Olympic Games, events like the World Ranking Masters increase in significance. Any event that showcases our best athletes is positive for bowling and helps our sport earn even more respect throughout the world.

I Regret that I am unable to attend this year's World Ranking Masters, however, I am certain that you will represent your home countries with dignity, respect and, most importantly, by performing well on the lanes.
