I am Grateful, proud and warmly welcome the choice of Indonesia for hosting Bowling World Championship of World Ranking Master 2008. This is the first international event in the history of Bowling in Indonesia. The appointment of Indonesia as the host is merely due to the dedication and hard work of the management of Indonesian Bowling Association in training and developing Indonesia Bowlers thus far, so that they can show high performance and reach great achievement in international event.

Jakarta Provincial Government warmly welcomes the World Bowling Association's decision choice of our city as the venue for the World Ranking Masters Bowling Championship 2008, scheduled from April 30 to May 6 at the Senayan Sportainment Bowling Alley.

I would also like to welcome participating bowlers from twenty one nations, and hope that not only will they perform to their very best during the championship, but that they will also have the opportunity to enjoy the fascinating tourist attractions and other various facilities in Jakarta.
